Large with unusually deep color for scapolite. From Steve's November trip to Tanzania. The rough weighed in at 125 carats and the finish gem is 26.08 carats. Measuring 18x 16 x 15 millimeters this is amongst the largest and finest scapolites Steve has ever cut. Si1 clarity the minor inclusions are barely visible. Outstanding brilliance from this one of kind cut that mixes brilliant, step and chevron facetting.
